Shaquille O'Neal wants to get right to business. He believes he has two years left in his NBA career, and he wants to make them count.
"I know a lot about the Celtics," the free agent signee said. "I know they sacrifice and play well together.
"The way I look at it is I have 730 days left in this game. I want to play together and play to win."
O'Neal will be counted on even more as the Celts await Kendrick Perkins' return from knee surgery. But when the roster is whole, Shaq's workload will be diminished.
"This was a good team with or without me," he said. "I don't mind playing a role. I know where I am at this point in my career. It's about coming to a team that is one or two pieces from a championship.
